Complacency
Complacency
Just got a big reminder today of how easy it is to become complacent in one's own recovery. I could use some ESH today.
Two questions:
1. What are your warning signs that you are becoming complacent in recovery?
2. What do you do to get back on track?

Wow, great thread!
1) I feel irritable (feel the rage within bubbling or anxiety rising). I tend to raise my voice, get impatient, rush & hurry. . .
2) Say the "Serenity Prayer," pick up Alanon-type/self-help literature, ask my HPs to take the thoughts/feelings from me, come here to SRF. . . if I can, I get to an Alanon meeting.
