Life is busy as hell for me right now and I can't get to the boards very much. I think of you often, hope your recovery is going well, and I'll check in when I can.

In the meantime please feel free to use these to fill in for me where necessary:

• Please consider Alanon, at least six meetings and some different, before deciding if it will work for you.
• It doesn't matter!
• Your ex is your ex. It's no longer any of your business. Let go and move on!

• You don't attract alcoholic/addicts, you are attracted to alcoholic/addicts.
• Now that you know you are attracted to alcoholic/addicts, do what it takes to learn to be attracted to people who are not.

Wow, those are some really good nuggets of wisdom! You seem like a pretty cool person. I've been needing to remind myself I'm not God and it's none of my business lately (been worrying and sad about family members) and just seeing those words typed out here by you, helps me somehow.

I'm gonna be posting and running for awhile. As somebody who hates being busy, I'm busy at work and home, and my alone time has been severely diminished. The good news is that none of it is crisis stuff!
