It's times like these that I wished there were "babysitters" for alcoholics. I'm serious, I actually looked online for adult babysitters once. Just someone who would sit at home, make sure he doesn't drink and drive, and that nothing explodes, so I could enjoy my day without worring every 5 minutes. But then I think, WHO in in their right mind would take that job???

**Still can't believe I acually googled, "babysitters for alcoholics"** So glad I can laugh at myself!!

I wish I could postpone the vacation but my daughter is a nurse and she had to put in months ago for this time off. Maybe I can ask a friend of ours whom we have known for almost 40 yrs. who just got laid off if he wouldn't mind staying with him and offer to pay him for doing it. I hope this won't insult him offering to pay him money?

Does he have enough brains to recognize when someone flips off a circuit breaker? Cut off electricity to the kitchen at least?
