OTT BIG TIME _ One Summer Job Completed!

Got the call this afternoon -
I'll be picking up the dogs' owner
at eleven at the airport.

I knew today was the day
or at least tomorrow
-how?-

I walked in the house
and it's been CLEANED top to bottom.
She's been ripping him off this entire month.
Just as I suspected.

So I will tell him about it.

But -= WHATEVER - it's DONE!!

I really like the girls
but they want their daddy home
and frankly, so did I.

wooHOO and hal-ay-loo-yah baby!!!!!

And note the perfect timing -
I can spend more unrushed time with my friend
during her rough week coming up.

Good job, (((Barb))). I know you will miss them, but suspect you won't be missing the allergy stuff?

Love, hugs, and prayers,

Amy

no sireeeeeeeeeeooty tooty!

God what a WEIGHT lifted off my shoulders.

She told everyone she was there for hours at a time every day
and there were three of us who drove by
and she was NEVER there.

Oh, I'm so glad I can close that chapter!

Oh yeah, I'll still be going over there
(she'll be cleaning the place again)
and I've got him for a class this fall -

and possibly an internship with him in the spring.

so ... the dayquil and generic claratin
and various other allergy medicine sales
in butte
are going to drop SIGNIFICANTLY starting - now!

woohoo!

Oh Barb, give up on the phenylprinine or whatever it's called(in the dayquil), and ask for the pseudoephedrine from behind the pharmacy counter. I appreciate that the pseudo is harder to get because of the meth makers, but it's still being sold for good reason, it WORKS! Just give in and use it.

And don't forget to try a neti pot!

Well, that is a relief that your allergies will now calm down.

I am sure they would not have bothered you if the 'cleaning lady' had been keeping the place clean all along.

Hopefully he can fined one that is more reliable and competent. Heck you did such a good job, he might give it to you, and if you went in for just a few hours a few days a week, I bet you could keep it in tip top shape and the fur kids would love seeing you.

Just thinking. Yeah I know that can be bad for both of us, roflmao.

But I do agree, he does have to be informed that the 'hours she worked' and reports to him are erroneous.

Glad you will be able to spend more time with your friend and the Mali. Mitzi will love the attention.

May I suggest that you print out a copy of the Rainbow Bridge poem to give to her at the time her special furbaby goes there. It can be such a comfort.

I am so happy for you!!!!!!

Love and hugs,

Thanks Laurie.

We had a good talk - he called and asked me to pick him up at the airport.
(the Butte airport is so CUTE, y'all ... like a fancy bus station so SMALL)

I've lived here almost a decade but never went inside the airport.

I'm talking small - like the Flagstaff airport.
I've been in larger Dunkin' Doughnuts.

Anyhow -
he wanted to have a cup of tea when I got him home
I think he was just jazed out after almost 18hrs flying.
SO I told him about it.
And he saw the lawn guy hadn't done anything.
SO... the ball's all his now.
Anyhow - he said he'd never seen the girls so bonded
to anyone he's ever had 'babysit' so ...
he was worried I wasn't going to come over and visit!

They were SOOOOO happy to see their Daddy, though.
Andof COURSE the codie side of me couldn't be quiet
and I told the dogs
"Lookie what *I* BROUGHT YOU GIRLS!"

I woke up today with 'rabid satanic racoon eyes' and an earache (-?-)

Just layin' around today ... watching 'Talledega Nights'.
(specifically meaning I'm giving my brain the day off also)
Doin' ear drops and bein chill.

"cross the anger bridge onto the friendship shore"
cracks me up every time.

(((Barb))) - sorry you aren't feeling well, but glad you are taking some "me time". The "girls" will love you, forever, as you took such good care of them, then brought "DADDY home!!"

I can't imagine an 18-hour flight. It would take me forever to get over that!

Love, hugs and prayers,

Amy

I have to chuckle a bit at the housecleaning service not showing up as contracted while the customer is away. I know when my boss is out...I tend to work less hours. Not that I overtly lie about it - but its so easy to fall in the "when the cat's away, the mice can play mentality".

I imagine your professor will be grateful for your hard work and dedication while he was gone.

I still have allergies...this summer is really kickin my butt.

Me, too, Tuff - hope it lets up now.
I blame it being so much wetter up here than 'normal'.
