Witnessed the "mentality of when they first got drunk" last night.
Tyler Durden was brilliant...
"Only after disaster can we be resurrected."
"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything. "
"You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your ******* khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. "
And my all time favorite....
"Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. "

I think I would have cried too. It's cathartic to cry when it seems all the stressful stuff gets thrown your way all at once.
You're doing a great job, dear!
Edward Norton? Dirty?!?! No way!!
The best thing about him is his ability to run the gammit of roles. From a priest in Keeping the Faith to neo-nazi skinhead in American History X... to a convicted arsonist in Stone.
It's amazing to see how he transforms himself into each of the personas.

Oh oh..I'm getting to the last dregs in the attic. Actually have a separate "can stay here" pile now, and a pile of boxes that needs to come with me. Going to bring one more box upstairs, and I think that may be it that I need to pack up there.
Then I need to finish downstairs, but like I've already said, I need to do that when AH isn't here, and then that will be it..so I need to make sure it's everything. July 5th should be the day to get the rest of everything out of the house.

Aw, Pixi -- I'm so sorry about the kid. Why do they have to be this way??????? Or at least be better at not getting caught? LOL You handled it great considering all you are doing now. AH still not the least bit suspicious? You are awesome!! (((Hugs))) Wish I could be there to help.
Still as far as I can tell, he doesn't have the slightest idea.
I did my own insurance today, I will take myself and the van off the old policy next Tuesday(there will be a small overlap in coverage there, I just realized that I should have started the new policy for the 5th not the 1st)

Ah, is it time for the Highland Games yet?
Silly teenagers! He will have to pay a little now, but I hope he gets the message that behavior is unacceptable, and will cost him later in life.
Pix, you are doing great.
Beth
I'm hoping this makes the kid get over his "nothing will happen to me" attitude about things. And perhaps his thinking that the cops are a joke(he gets that one from AH)
and I WOULD rather deal with him in juvie than having to visit him in jail or prison later on once he's an adult, I can tell you that much.
