Grad Party
Well he did not show up for the grad party but my daughter seemed ok because they had an emotional talk the night before. SHe said she understood where he was coming from but unfortunately, one of our family members (who knew he would not be there) started to try and have a conversation with her about his absence and my daughter started to ball her eyes out and ran outside. This person knows the situation and I still can not believe that she would have done that. SHe is a teenage girl for crying out loud. How do you think she would react???
I will tell you, people just blow my mind!! Use your head please!!

Some people are just @holes. I hope she was able to enjoy the rest of her party. And I hope the offending person was escorted off the property by two snarling dobermans.... that would have been cool
That was very insensitive. I'm so sorry that your daughter is hurting and that her dad didn't or couldn't put her first on such a big day in her life, when nothing should have mattered but her life, feelings and accomplishments. And it's really too bad that this person didn't understand that her actions were compounding the pain.

Blueboom - You said it s well. That is exactly what I was thinking. The older I get the more I do not understand some people. Although I do believe that some people thrive on DRAMA!! Personally, I hate drama and all the nonsense that goes with it. I did get her to calm down and dance to the chicken dance! Just wish it did not happen, she was so happy before the nonsense was said to her.
