When I was with my XABF we were writing a song together. I always have written poetry. He plays the guitar so it was very natural to turn some of my poetry into song lyrics. After I stopped talking to him, a part of me was sad because I thought my dream of writing a song would never be realized. A couple of weeks ago I advertised for a guitarist and I got a few responses. Last night I talked to someone who actually sounds very promising. I am meeting him and his gf on Friday. To tell you the truth, I am relieved that he has a GF so there is no chance of a transference of feelings (that sometimes happens with people you work closely with over a period of time). I am excited to start working on the songs again and thankful for meeting my X because I never would have thought I could do something like that in the first place.
