A Good Laugh

It has been 3 weeks since I left my AH . Was enjoying some peace and grieving for a lost cause. Today he sends me a text message asking if I did the laundry . Has he not noticed I am gone ???? This actually really made me laugh .

Well, just because you're gone doesn't mean your not going to do his laundry. You have to be clear when setting boundaries.

I think my boundaries were pretty clear when I left , he may not remember the conversation though .The memory is pretty shot .

It was a joke, of course you wouldn't be doing his laundry after you left.

That's why I included the smilie at the end.

It was actually a very funny post, thank you for sharing.

Wow, that's pretty funny

Thumper 06-08-2011 08:49 AM

LOL

That is a good one. They are persistent with their desire to be taken care of that is for sure.

We had actually had the divorce finalized for awhile and he'd ask if I could buy him socks and toothpaste or something ridiculous like that. Um - no. Dummy.

Even more stupid if you consider all the crazy assed mean emails he constantly sent.

Fandy 06-08-2011 08:56 AM

makes you wonder what he is wearing in the undies department???:lmao

or if he knows where the washer and dryer are????

Alone22 06-08-2011 10:22 AM

Simply crazy.

I don't know which is more disturbing - the fact that you are gone and he didn't notice, or the fact that he has been going commando and didn't notice.

MyBetterWorld 06-08-2011 11:44 AM

well, SHOULDN'T you still be doing his laundry? After all, it IS all about HIM right? LMAO:lmao

Missymum 06-08-2011 11:49 AM

That is too funny.

NYCDoglvr 06-08-2011 12:04 PM

You should text him back like, "Yeah, I've been doing my laundry pretty regularly. Thanks for asking!"

I can just picture him sitting in the laundry room, calling out your name.

Reminds me of when alkie husband ran off to binge in a hotel room one weekend. He texted me all dramatic, saying he just had to get away, and didn't care anymore! [insert dramatic music]

Then he called me back and asked me to reschedule his bridge game.

LaPinturaBella 06-08-2011 03:07 PM

OMG...this is so funny. Since you're firing up the washer and drier anyway, mind if I send you my laundry too????? J/K
