I found out who had my back
XA could not have
Such love and kindness
True friends generosity
Shadows fade away
Piestewa calls
She tells me to walk ahead
Up the peak I climb
(what's a triplet of haikus? hehe)

I have a new cat
She hides in the corners now
Her claws are quite sharp
Then start one! 
There was a shy cat from the shelter
Living with results fate had dealt her
Now she has a home
And no need to roam
And I have quite a few new welts, sir.
(On the plus side, one of the new kitten's claws has extended my palm's life line - that's good, right?
She is a sweetheart, though, and she's already starting to open up. She hates being picked up, but loves being held and will purr like you wouldn't believe.)
