Snow is a 4 letter word right now. (Come Fall, I'll feel differently - it'll be heaven - but today...)
It's sunny and could get to the low 70's here in Alaska! The trees greened up over night a couple weeks ago and it's beautiful!

You are all welcome to visit sunny Guadalajara, Mexico, in fact its so hot its difficult to sleep without air con, but the night breeze is very soothing. And I get depressed with the sun outside! I would be suicidal in the North
I have not used socks since January
I loved snow and the first time it snowed when I was an exchange student in Finland, it was glorious, magic! I felt like a small kid. Thanks for bringing back that memory! I hope you are warm inside, at least you won't get wrinkles from the sun!

(((Barb))) - as I offered ((Anvilhead)), I'd GLADLY send you about 20 degrees. Right now it's a "cool" 89 degrees with thunderstorms/hail moving in. A couple weeks ago it was cool enough to wear a sweatshirt, but it was short lived, and we've been having summer heat for over a month.
Love, hugs, and prayers,
Amy

I'm right there with you barb. No snow but the winter clothes I put away this weekend-I needed to go look for tights to wear under my skirt because it was 34 degrees when I woke up this morning and only got to about 52.
But, I am leaving for Dallas tomorrow with NM (maybe--I cannot find the person who was going to watch my dog and I was supposed to drop him off tonight. . . and he is too big of a humunculus to fit in the car and I cannot afford to kennel him. . .if I even could since it is a holiday weekend).
So maybe I will be freezing my keister off here????

Wwwww! loogit at all yall wanting to send good weather up here!
I had to put away the catalog I got the other day
full of spring clothes.
It's been like this (without the snow)
for a week now.
The clincher was the heater kicking on about 3:00 this afternoon.
I just put in a movie and snuggied up in a blanket.
LOL!

Yuck @ snow. It's been unseasonable cool here today. Was around high 50's, maybe right at 60. We have been having lots of flooding and wild weather though, so I'd gladly take snow over all that scary stuff I suppose. Just a couple (maybe 3, heck I dunno) weeks ago the Corps of Engineers had to blow a levee in order to keep Cairo, IL (close to where I live) from being washed away due to flooding..lots of Missouri farmers were very unhappy, and rightfully so, but lives over crops is more important. Ok, sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. (((((Hugs)))))
We just had a thunderstorm go through, and are down to a pleasant 67 degrees. Lost power for about 1-1/2 hours, trees/power lines are down near us, and I think another house may have been struck by lightening Dad had to go way past our house, backtrack on other back roads, as the road we normally come home on was closed, and there were fire trucks/EMS crews at one point.
We're supposed to have another day of storms, then back into the 90's. Trying to figure out how to e-mail or slow-mail (((Barb))) some of that HOTness
Hugs and prayers,
Amy
