Update on AS
Okay, a few weeks ago, I posted about AS falling off wagon after our Mom headed off to England. She was drinking, but I chose to focus on what I can control, me. I prayed hard that she would take care of herself and stop on her own, not with me "preaching from the choir".
Well, she did it on her own. I never mentioned that I knew, but in a few emails to her, in discussing some other family drama going on, I casually mentioned "if one more drama takes place in this family, I'm going to go crazy" or something along those lines.
I prayed a lot for her and I'm proud she did this on her own, I think she realizes she has two choices, stay sober and live or die.
Thanks all for your support and prayers, I know that it gave her the strength she needed to get back on track with her sobriety!
