Natey,
Near the top of the page right under the Notices bar, you will see a button on the left side of the screen that says "New Thread"
Click that and you'll be creating your own thread.
Edit: You can do this from the main Friends and Family window. Not inside a thread like this.
It's in the same place you clicked to respond to grizz's thread. Just says New Thread.
