She relapsed yesterday...
That really ******* sucks. I'm glad you're taking care of you and Little Cyranoak. All the recovery in the world can't stop us from being human.. and hurt, and worried, and everything else that is perfectly ok for you to feel. I don't have good words for this stuff..but my heart hurts a little bit for you and yours right now.
So sorry to hear things are going downhill for your wife, but I'm glad that you're showing such strength. I hope I will be able to react the same way, if this was to happen! Take good care of yourself. Lots of strength is being sent your way !
My first response was to think how sorry I am to hear that, Cyranoak.
I've been around long enough now to know that sometimes gifts come in the most unusual of forms.
There's a gem, a lesson, a blessing somewhere in there for you, my friend.
I miss being here often to read your posts.

Cyranoak,
So sorry to hear this, I agree with previous posters that I always learn from you and appreciate your straight-forward and very consistent approach. You never waver, and it's always a reminder for me to do the same.
So, as I am sad for you and your wife, and your daughter, I learn from you yet again, as I am reminded how fragile sobriety is, and how without our own strong recovery, we would never be able to handle a relapse and stay healthy ourselves, and focused on what our children need, all the things that you always say. You are walking your talk Sir, and I thank you, for sharing and for being a part of this forum.
Take what you like and leave the rest, dear Cyranoak
