That Which Does Not Kill Me...

... makes me stronger... I guess?

Hi everyone -
I'm going to be out and about for a week or so -

it's finally FINALS
and I need to FORCE myself
to bear down and keep totally focused
on study and finishing my projects

so I may not be ...
what am I saying!
I KNOW I'm not going to be around very much
for a week or so...

Got a horriffic chest cold
am having to sleep in the couch propped upright
but can't even think about the doctor
until exams are over.

I KNOW - just off the end of those
murderous antibiotics...

please remember me to your Higher Powers of choice
Gods, Goddesses, Elementals...
Santaria Icons...

...I'm not choosy at this point.

I've got 114 study questions for one class
that I'm really hurting in-
going to be a miracle
to squeeze a C out of that class....

plus one hour long speech to write a critical paper
plus study for history final
plus write an essay for Literature due Friday
then Anthropology final and study guide

I'm just going to be cramming every item I can get
into my head
and trying to stay rested.

You'll all be in my prayers

Love and blessings to all!!

C-ya in a week or so!!!

If you can avoid milk products it would help to ease your breathing... drink lots of water...
I am also busy but trying to do my best with the task at hand.
Hope you feel better soon.
You can do this!!!!!

To support our 2 kids while in grade school, high school
and college we would tell them how much loved them of
course, but that we were EXTREMELY Proud of their own
accomplishments. For them to focus on school work and
be SO involved in band activities which filled in every ounce
of free time they had was unbelievable. I gave them lots of
room to grow as they went thru their changes in life as a boy
and the other a girl. I also made sure that they stayed close
together as brother and sister being supportive also of each
other. And they have. So unlike my own siblings.

Anyway...when you have a good strong support system behind
you then anything is possible. Im one of those that would like
to say "Barb, you are doing a Tremendous, awesome job..!!!!"
stay strong, focus and before you know it school will be over.

I use to tell my kids that they wont be in school all their lives when
it seemed to never end. And that is true too. They are now in their
20's both degree'd and one married working in his music field.

How can a parent not be so proud of that. My ex and I certainly are.

And I am of you Barb..!

Good Lord, Anvilhead!
At first, I thought I had better not read it, but stupid curiosity got the best of me.

I laughed so hard, I choked on my greek yogurt and peed my pants.

I will be looking forward to that moviprep all week

Thank you, really. I have not laughed so hard for a long time.

hugs

Wishing you well and hope you're feeling better. I know you'll rock your finals, so you don't need any well-wishes there! (But I wish you luck, any way.)

I have written what is probably
the best (at least the FUNNIEST)
literature final essay ...ever.

I ran it past tow other professors
who said go for it
I took the idea for approval
from the professor
and he said after grading a million
final essays
that he could USE a laugh so go ahead.

SO we can pretty much mark that class as "A"
and sewn up.

The Department Secretary laughed so hard
she almost peed her chair
so I'm very very proud right now LMAO!

I knew this professor would be cool with it
because he is secure in himself
and not afraid for his students
to approach old world lit
in new ways.

I'd love to post it but i DON'T KNOW HOW?

sO: when I figure that out... I'll send it around.

I can send it as an attachment if anyone wants to read it.

I've set myself a goal of forty questions from
the 'beelzebub communications' class
that I hate now....
*sigh*

when I get the email notification I can go in and attach it that way.

Thank you all so much for the support -
y'all really don't know sometimes
just how much I lean on you to keep going.
