Update on my world...
Well, I did survive the several days that I took over tending all of Amber's animals while she finished up horseshoeing school in Oklahoma.
I am pleased to report that after 2 weeks of being missing, Oreo showed up on my back porch. I damned near fell to my knees and wept. He had definitely lost weight, but still looked good, and I cooked up a special batch of stuff to help put the weight back on. Amber's had him since she was 11, and he found his way back to his original home.
Amber's EXABF remains an ex. I won't hold my breath though. The good news is she is working over the spring/summer at the nursery/landscaping business where she worked before, and she works on horses on the weekends. She can only trim feet right now as she needs to buy an anvil in order to shoe horses, and those suckers are not cheap! She's busy, and busy is good.
I'm busier than a one-armed paper-hanger, and looking forward to around May 8th or so when I am done with college! I'm going to sleep for 2 days straight after graduation!
I think of all my friends here at SR often!

(((DeVon))) - so glad to hear everything is going well!! I think of you often, as I'm drowning in studying and am still just doing the prerequisites...you are still my inspiration
Glad to hear the ex is still an ex, and that ((Amber)) is doing well. Weather permitting, I am going horseback riding with a friend I met from here, this Sunday, and am soooooo looking forward to it! Haven't been around houses in years, but just meeting them and being around them (as well as a friend from SR!!) was like being in paradise.
Graduation is just around the corner, and you should be VERY proud of all that you've accomplished.

Also very happy to hear Orea did find his way home finally!!!!!
As a thought, Amber might want to get on line and do some "Grant" searching (cause you don't have to pay those back) and see what is out there for women starting their own business, etc there are just so many 'weird' grants out there, you never know what she might qualify for.
Just a thought.
