What really burns me.
Trolls like to stir up sh*t on forums. They pretend to be someone other than who/what they say they are. They like to say outrageous things just to get people all worked up.
There's no point to it really, except to amuse themselves.
Kinda sick.

I respect the mods here, they are absolutely a blessing on a forum like this.
Dang.. I thought I had good troll-dar too. Clearly I haven't been around enough lately to notice.
I have had a few 'mod guidance' moments and appreciate every virtual handslapping (always followed by a hug) that I have received!

I'm with you, Stella. Wish I could say I was a troll instead of waking up to my reality every single day. At least on the days when I would rather be anyone else but me! Like today...full moon AND spring fever AND teenage girls -
I tend to be way too trusting, but I do believe there was a troll here a few months ago who was really over-the-top with advice that didn't really make much sense nor sound like it came from personal experience and of course, vanished after the mods got involved.

Me, too!
I will say, I know of two posters I would put into this category.
One I am sure was a troll.
The other, not exactly a troll, but an alcoholic with poor recovery trying to gain approval for their side of the story. Yes, he needed help, but this was the wrong part of the forum for that.
The trick, on a forum like this, is also distinguishing one from the other, or whether which category matters at all.
