laugh or Crucial
 

AW has been on a binge for 9 days now. This afternoon I caught her watching an intervention show on the computer while drinking a beer. She even hates beer but is out of vodka and the liquor store is closed. I didn't whether to laugh or cry.

I also told her today that I have retained a lawyer and will be filing for divorce. When she sobers up she can move out and into one or our rental propertys. I can't wait for the day.@

I'm sorry. It's truly sad, but I can see how you might want to laugh at the absurdity of watching intervention while drinking. Maybe it helps them by convincing themselves that they're not THAT bad. I just don't know.

I thought it was really sad but their is something funny about it though.

Yeah, I know the feeling. My AH loves the show Shameless on Showtime. He tells me all the time... "I'm not a drunk - that guys a drunk!"
