Well - in a way - the prayers worked LMAO

I got down there
and found out it was supposed to be a FASTING test.

I'd had coffee and a yogurt.

SOOOOooooo.... *blush*

I'm meeting them Monday morning before school.

sheesh.

Like I'm some kind of medically inclined person.
LOL

The nurse person looked at the swelling though and said
'yeah, that's definitely something'...

pffft.

I said, "I *know* you don't think I"m paying you for that!"

lol

LOL..Ive actually done that same thing before, forgot the fasting part, and all the anxiety was postponed.

Still praying!

She told me that heat wasn't good for it -
but a hot pack is the ONLY thing that lightens the pain
and makes the swelling go down.

wtf.

Do these people actually KNOW what they're saying?

Peaches and I will be here rooting for you, and the "BENIGN" word.

I'll be praying for you.

(((Barb))) - I understand about the heat issue. When I ruptured the disk, in my back, I would have KILLED anyone who tried to take my heating pad away. I was later told, I should have been alternating heat with ice?

Yeah, I was a nurse, I know all about the ice making swelling go down, but I also know what FEELS better...sigh.

Love, hugs, and prayers,

Amy

There was a fatal car accident on the interstate this morning and there were too many people and tee few attendants for me to wait and still make it to class. So I've been PROMISED that I'll be seen first thing in the am.. that's good - I have a late class ....

Well, there are several in the medical field I have encountered whose advice has been less than stellar.

I'm always tempted to tell those particular folks that I found rubbing pickle juice in my armpits really helped the pain, but I don't think I could keep a straight face.

(((DeVon))) - if you'd said that to me, when I was a nurse, you would have gotten a really strange look, followed by "okay"

Hugs and prayers continue, ((((Barb)))). I've adopted ((Beth's)) prayer - ((Barb)) - benign.

Love you!

Hugs and prayers,

Amy
