All change is scary and good in its own way. Let your feelings come as they will, you now know just how strong you can be. No sadness can stop you. No grief can tear you down. You can carry on. That faith in you and confidence in your own power will go a long way towards working through the emotional roller coaster that inevitably follows change.

When I left my EX is was a triumphant moment. It was terrifying and freeing at the same time. When the dust settled and I looked around at the start of my new life there was sadness right along side the excitement. Working through those emotions was all part of my process.

Early this week it felt like a huge victory and I just wanted to celebrate - but the past few days I have started grieving. Felt awkward posting.

I know what you mean. It becomes very real, and it signifies a death, in a sense. But , when you think about it, with acceptance , you will know that it is the beginning, the rebirth of your life and freedom.
and you have learned so much about yourself, and what you truly need.
I am sorry, cause I know it hurts. But, that sorrow will pass.
