I'm off from school for the week too.
Loving every minute of it.
I actually started a few days early due to my youngest being sick ALL week w/ a stomach virus, a visit to the ER and lots of puking going. Poor baby!
He's doing much better now.
So much we sat last night and figured out that we are going on 3 day trips this upcoming weeks plus going to the movies.
I let him plan it out, picking the days and which place we would be going...we planned our whole week. Then he said it......
what about dad?
Well dad has to work. He got upset. He isn't used to going places without his dad attending....so I told him I would ask him if he could take a vacation day to attend one of our days w/ us...he decided which one he wanted dad to come with. So we shuffled some stuff around so that we could accomadate the day RAH could get off.
So we still have a full week of fun planned.
I'm looking forward to it. It will be the first outtings w/out RAH with us...something I and the kids may need to get used to.

The sun is shining and it looks to be warming up
and my car needs a bath. Big - Big.
So I'm gonna pack up the lappytop
and scoot over to a coffee 'hot spot'
and do some downloading
that I can't do here because of the crappy connection.
I THOUGHT I was going to sleep in
but my bladder had other ideas.
The only 'agenda' I have other than study and stuff
for three exams the first days back
is spring clean this place.

Last weekend of our spring break in my neck of the woods - I think today I am going to hang out at Lowe's for a while and dream of home improvement projects for my new house, without having someone hanging over my shoulder reminding me we "can't do that" or "I don't like that light fixture" or "I don't think that will work"...
Enjoy your week, barb! It goes by so fast!

I really can't think of a better way to spend Spring Break, Tuffgirl. I went to a couple stores and got seeds for purple carrots, white carrots and orange carrots, beans, lavender, a Sarah Bernhardt peony, sprouts. My dad's are already sprouting: tomatoes, chives, squash, cabbage, I forget what else.... Hopefully, I don't kill the little things while Dad and his wife are traveling, and hopefully, I'll be able to grow more than just weeds for me and DS. I'm trying to think of other plants that I may be able to do alright with: more flowers in pinks, lavenders and white, for a planter XAH cannot give away, rosemary, more peonies...
I've also found one of the first projects for whatever little home I eventually find: a living fence of orange osage, or maybe willow. Dreaming of my own little home is so nice.

LOL Wicked!
I don't know how I missed what you said about florida!
My Florida days are over, LOL
that ship... hath sailed.
And sailed. and sailed....
I spent the first part of the day
down at the coffehouse cyber hot spot
downloading some audio books a friend sent me.
Got a text from someone I haven't really TALKED to
in almost a year
and she came up to the shop
and we drank expresso
and basically got WIRED and blabbed like magpies!
Then I called my OTHER friend
(the woman in her seventies)
who never leaves her house it seems
told her to get dressed warm
that we were going to wash my car.
omg it's SOOOO dirty from all the snow and slush.
We proceeded to cruise town
from car wash to car wash
because every car washing facility in town
had lines waiting that went around the building!
We went to dinner ... it was AWFUL!!!!
I shal write to the owner of the restaraunt
they didn't tell us all the ingredients of the entree we ordered
and both of us had food allergies to what was in there.
they charged us anyhow.
the nerve!
but it was a warm(ish) sunshin-ie day
and the company was good
so we just came back and watched tv.
That's the first television I've watched in weeks.
I just can't get my head around what's happened.
And the evening and the morning .... was the first day of break!
I didn't have to be smart
didn't have to spell anything
didn't have to use correct grammar....
a true vacation LOL

Glad you are enjoying your spring break Barb!
It is a much needed break IMO when ppl are students. Otherwise the brain spins out of control. lol
Stopping by to wish you well!
Now if employers would recognize that workers need a break a few times a year then we would all be doing well!

I've decided the car won't be washed until monday.
everyone else will have to go back to work
and there might not be a line then.
and my PAID FOR car will get 'the treatment'.
vac - smellie stuff - everything.
