Yes, I had lists too. Multiple ones. But, hanging them on my wall made a huge difference. There they are, every time I go into my office. Also, that is where I pay my bills, at the computer. So now I don't have to gather up my list, my bills, my checkbook, and take them to the computer in order to pay the bills. Everything is always right there.

Believe it or not, I have a few things taped to my wall in front of me at work right now.
I didn't see them after day 1.
But, thanks!

Yeah, I have a "vision board" that I made probably 4 years ago. I never look at it.

Obviously, you have to find something that works for you. The calendar works for me because 1)it's a calendar, I look at it anyway because I want to know what day it is, 2)it does the prioritizing for me because everything is by date 3)it's dynamic rather than static. I get satisfaction out of erasing things that are done. It makes me happy when it's "empty."

I hope you find a tool that will work for you FP.

I use an Excel spreadsheet.
I also keep my bank balance, and a different tab budgeting what pay each bill will come out of (since right now, I don't have enough sitting around to be able to pay even a half a month's bills).

Hey, good news.
I am in a better emotional place and I am working on a new system at work.
I think part of my problem is I was never taught any long term thinking at home. Mom was absent for homework stuff, so I never learned.
Literally, if left to my own devices I can tell you what i am up to TODAY.
I have to WORK to think beyond today.
Now, you may say that's zen and all, but in truth, it is a handicap.

Anyway, I am working in a system to look at the month and break down jobs into managable chunks.
It's kind of exciting to be doing something new!
If I work on things bit by bit, I won't be overwhelmed at the last minute (hopefully) and I now know what my boss needs to do to help me. She needs to support me in practicing this long term thinking.

Growth is good.
Hugs, peace
