I think you can probably just get yourself accustomed to frequent cancellations such as this one. I'll bet money this is just the first of many to come, unfortunately. Bleh.

I hope you and your sister have a great day. Don't let the turkeys get you down.

O_M_G_, don't even get me started. Because I think he's really found his perfect enabler. I go back and forth between wishing:
  • Please let her kick him out. Let her see just how manipulative and sick he is. Or maybe not even that much is needed, because she said she'd kick him out if he relapsed again. - So maybe just let him drink in front of her or fail to hide it well. (I can almost guarantee he's drinking vodka and there are bottles hidden around her house that she doesn't 'see' because she thinks his drink of choice is rum and coke.)

I think once he's kicked out of her house, he would eventually just crawl under a rock some where and leave us alone because she was taking care of all the visitation requirements.

    Or wishing:
  • Please don't ever let her wise up and let her keep him forever. (Like he's some stray, rabid dog, right?)

Because at least he's kind of focusing on her and is trying like crazy to keep his cushy new home, the free ride, has some one else to deal with him daily and take care of his every need.

Ahhh, if only I could go back in a time machine to 1990, find her and let my friend introduce her to XAH instead of me.... Oh, well.

I'm kind of feeling better, not quite level, but not completely off-balance. Does that make sense? And tired. Tired. Tired. Tired. The hugs definitely helped, though, you all rock. Thanks!
