OT: Holiday photo of three of my four dogs

From the left, Luna the Lab mix, Piggy the Corgi mix, and Steve the Yorkie. Mary the Shepherd mix is camera shy, and I respect her discomfort around cameras. I guess she takes after me....

Oh...my...God! How cute is that?! Isn't life so much better with canine companions to brighten our days? Thank you so much for posting those. I needed a smile today.

Thanks, everyone. I haven't been able to find holiday outfits that fit the other two pups in the photo. My Shepherd mix, Mary, is very uncomfortable around the camera, and it's hard to get good photos of her. She ran and hid in the bathroom when I took the camera out. She thinks my bathroom is her personal dog house. She loves to go in there and closes the door for privacy (I guess).

I can't imagine life without my canine friends, Freedom. They make me smile every day. I got my first dog when I was six years old and I've had one, or more dogs, ever since.

Please feel free to post photos of your pets here!

Steve's doggie daycare had a "dress your pet" contest last week. My daughter dressed Steve up as a rock star, and he won a free day of dog day care. Here's a pic:

The glasses are called "doggles." Steve wears them when he goes on my brother's boat. He doesn't like the wind in his face. I didn't think he'd leave them on, but he does!

Here's a photo of Steven Tyler the dog with Steven Tyler the rocker. It was a fun-with-photoshop pic that my daughter entered into a photo contest at Steve's dog daycare. He took second place and won a free "spa day." Shampoo, blow dry, and nail cut. Soon Steve will be old enough to stay at home with the other dogs without getting into trouble. WE HOPE.

That is so cute! Well you know, we humans close the bathroom door just about any time we're in there, so it only makes sense that she can too.

Steve is so cool. I love the doggles. I'll have to forward a note to my cousin to look for them for her little Molly and Bogie.

This is how Steve gets from the boat to the shore (he's being escorted by my brother):

Thanks, all. You know things are out of balance in my house when you have to say, "excuse me" to Mary so you can use the bathroom in peace. She does leave, after a heavy sigh.

OK... I may have to take back my "Steve is so cool" comment. (Kidding! How could Steven Tyler not be cool?) DS would be sooooooo jealous! He has been trying to talk me into buying him a snuggie since the first time he saw the ad.

OK, so my mother gave me, my brothers and sister, and all our children (and Steve) Snuggies for Christmas as a joke. We all made fun of them, but they are seriously warm and we actually use them. The best part of the Snuggie gift was the checks she slipped into the pockets Good thing Steve doesn't know that pink isn't a manly color.
