Yes you are, but so am I so I feel that I can say that. Great song! It helped me through a few broken hearts.

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. I always turn it up when I hear it on the radio.

I need to get F*** you on my Itunes. Play it in my van for those rare times I don't have a child with me.

Had a religious experience to this song once.

The one line " Oh well ... there goes the Fairy Tale..."

just blows me away every time.
woman has a voice that goes on and on.
ANd lungs the size of basketballs LOL

This is my 'feeling all worldly and strong and whatever else sounds cool" song:

A song about losing a friend to addiction

If you twist and turn away
If you tear yourself in two again
If I could, yes I would
If I could, I would
Let it go
Surrender
Dislocate
If I could throw this
Lifeless lifeline to the wind
Leave this heart of clay
See you break, break away
Into the night
Through the rain
Into the half-light
Through the flame

If I could through myself
Set your spirit free
I'd lead your heart away
See you break, break away
Into the light
And to the day

Oooh oooh, oooh oooh, oooh oooh oooh...

To let it go! And so fade away
To let it go!
And so fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping, oh no, no, no

If you should ask then maybe they'd
Tell you what I would say
True colors fly in blue and black
Blue silken sky and burning flag
Colors crash, collide in blood shot eyes

Oooh oooh, oooh oooh, oooh oooh oooh...

If I could, you know I would
If I could, I would
Let it go

This desparation
Dislocation
Separation
Condemnation
Revelation
In temptation
Isolation
Desolation
Isolation

Let it go
And so fade away
To let it go, oh yeah
And so fade away
To let it go, oh No
And so fade away
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping oh no no

Man, I had to look up this gal, Maria McKee, what a set of pipes. Very haunting song, gave me the goose bumps. Thanks Barb.

Had to listen to "Son of a Preacher Man" while I was over there, that one's on my "Coyote's Greatest Hits" cd.

Thanks and God bless us all,
Coyote

Grrrrrr... I went looking for my Pulp Fiction CD because my iPod has given up the ghost (poor over-played, battered little iPod.) and there are issues with my old computer. The CD is apparently in the stuff that XAH refuses to return. Deeeeeeeeeeeeep breath.

I love that song, Barb. And "Son of Preacher Man", Coyote.
