Good for you, kia. I'm sorry to hear that your "bottom" was so scary. You've come a long way, though, so don't do yourself down on that score. Read back over your old threads - you are in a very different place now and those posts will hopefully give you confidence in your strength and also serve as a reminder if you ever get wobbly in the future.
Hope the counselling helps to bolster your self-esteem and realize that you don't have to put up with this sort of treatment. Because you don't. You're worth so much more.

The energy you need kia, to get better and have a fulfilling joy filled life is being thrown at him and he does not care to change.
Keep your good money for you, let him lose, he is losing his battle with alcohol, and it is not in your power to fix him.
