Nanook returns
Nanook returns
Arrived off plane a short time ago, and am heading for a lovely hot shower and MY OWN BED.
God has a wonderful sense of humour, in that Melbourne had beautiful weather (chilly nights) while my home town in Queensland, had rain, rain and more rain. When I say rain up here I mean 5 inches in 3 hours at times.
Right now I have had a lovely dinner, cooked for me by RABF and have popped on here to take a quick peep and announce my return......while my eyes are sufficiently open to see what I am posting.
Mum had a ball at her 99th and plans are being made for her 100th next year.....God willing.
Must fly, ......well crawl, into shower and bed before I just nod off at my desk.
:ghug3 to you all and glad to be back online.

Hi Jadmack! Welcome home! It sounds as though you had a great time, minus all the rain! We had heaps of rain here too...Southern NSW. The sun was out all day yesterday, a first in over a week and guess what? I spent it catching up on all the washing! Whoopee! Today, back to chilly, cloudy, drizzly weather. Is it still raining in sunny Qld? Lol...
How nice your RABF made you a lovely dinner! And your mum is 99??? Wow! That's amazing and God love her, having a ball. I'm sure she'll make it to 100 and guess what? She'll get a telegram from the Queen! Lol.... Have a nice warm shower and a good nights rest.

Oh there you are! So glad to see you! Will you have party pictures? At first that's what I thought pelicans picture was, a shot of your mums party. I thought, "well those Aussies really know how to party!"

So glad you are back Jadmack!
Oh Lordy, thanks for all the lovely responses, and Pelican's snap almost gave me a hernia from laughing.
I have posted a few snaps on a new thread, as keep chuckling too much here.

It's so good to have you back! I missed your presence!
Speaking of chilly, we actually had some snow the other day after the temps dropped and it was raining. Fortunately the ground was warm enough that it melted as it hit the ground.
I've definitely gotten all my winter wear out!

We don't have much snow here. It keeps warming up just enough to slush up (yuck) and then re-freezes, which makes the sledding super fast, but the roads treacherous. We've had the winter gear out and DS has been bundled up since the end of September. I'm actually wishing for it to snow, snow, snow! For one thing, it'll make the roads a bit less slippery. And then there's snow forts, snowball fights, snow angels...
I'm working my way through the recent threads and can't wait to see the photos, Jadmack!
