what a roller coaster ride! i went from laughing to crying to laughing to sheer amazement! i'm here and safe. my place is teeny tiny and just adorable and best of all, It's MINE!!! now let's hope all the crap i packed fits!! if not, it will be fun to sell or give it away to friends and family! I have so much darn stuff!! this whole runaway thing is so new to me, i just grabbed whatever i thought i needed. Should be fun putting things away ect.
I hope my couch fits......can't wait for my things to get here....it is warm and cozy and i'm safe and love where i live!
My son was wonderful and drove the entire way! i couldn't have done it without him. i'm overwhelmed, happy to be free and looking foward to filling my home and my kitchen with good food and my things. Kitties are a little disoriented, but i know they will settle down after a bit! thanks for all your support!! now i can't wait to sleep in my own bed!

YOU MADE IT! I hope you know what an inspiration you are to so many others on this board.

thanks everyone! I feel like a little kid!! i am going 100 miles an hour...I can see the ocean from this little perch in the treetops! I feel so lucky to have found it..i'm sure the universe put it in my path because it is very unusual to find a place that i could afford in this area. well, better get going. i need so many things and my kids are coming to go shopping with me....that's going to be fun!

I have a little bit of that every time I wake up on the morning since I changed my life...your words are palpable and a good reminder of what is POSSIBLE if we take steps.:c011:

I remember that feeling too (leaving and then finally moving into my house with the kids, dog and cat). I looked around and thought-yep, it needs work. But this is my haven and my peace and my life from now on. I don't have to let any of that garbage back into my life--and I have not. xah has never stepped foot in my house. Don't want his bad karma entering our serene household.
