Holy guacamole Batman!
Yesterday I went to see Amber's new place (her ABF was out at her mother's), and she asked me if I wanted a really nice entertainment center that the landlord had just given to her. It fits up to a 32" TV (which I have), and her TV is too big, so she had to buy a different entertainment center.
To my surprise, she and ABF both showed up, each in in their own truck, Amber was hauling the entertainment center over, and Chris loaded up the POS sofa sleeper that was destroyed. I asked Chris how he was feeling today (his face was still ashen and drawn today) and he said not good.
I can't believe he was willing to do all this today (I'm sure she asked him), plus they are going down to pick up the sofa, chair, and ottoman I bought from the nursing home's thrift shop and haul it over here for me. I am so excited! It's a beautiful deep blue, with that overstuffed look, if you know what I mean. It is like brand new, and so comfortable (I didn't want to get back up after I sat down to try it out)!
I will get pictures once everything is in place! Wow, Christmas early for me today!

The furniture sounds awesome. Bet that will breathe new life into the old living room, right?

It's wonderful having a living room with nice furniture. I still need a few things like end tables so I can trash the old stained ones.
I keep going in the living room sitting on the sofa, and I'm not getting my homework done!

He was puffed up and strutting around like a peacock because I told him he didn't need to be a Hercules carrying stuff in. Too bad his brain doesn't match his brawn.
It was a lot of work for the two of them to do, so I told them I am going to cook manicotti this weekend for all of us.
Now if I could get him to lay the flooring that he was going to do, then it was off, then it was on, then it was off.

So cool that you're getting new furniture and that Amber's BF helped move stuff. (whoa)
But, man! I've been saying "Holy guacamole Batman!" all day. Cracks DS and the nephews up. It's worth having that stuck in my head to hear them giggle!
