a peek into rehab
I just spent 3 days inpatient due to bipolar relapse.
We had a storm and the elec was out...and so they brought over a dozen young women from a nearby rehab since we got elec back and they didn't.
Thse ladies were awesome. They told us that their entire day was spent on recovery, the whole day was scheduled. Time they got up, responsibilities etc.
They got a kick out of spending an evening with us..they aren't allowed tv and it was the first time they had been in the company of guys since they were in rehab.
They were super supportive of each other, alot of bonding and encouragement.
and they were happy, upbeat and doing the good fight together.
They were working hard but it was clear that it was good to them and for them.
It sure isn't a picnic to do this 28 days but they wore it well.
Thought I would share my peek inside...
