My AD called today. She's being evicted. Now there's a surprise. *sarcasm* I'm sure she had popped Xanax because I was having a hard time understanding her through the slurred speech. I feel badly for my 15 year old granddaughter who lives with her because there is just no stability in her life since deciding not to live with her father and stepmother anymore. AD really did have a nice little place for the last 3 years, a 2 bedroom apartment in a small complex. Her rent was subsidized. The laundry room was right next door. She's lived in dozens of crap hole places prior to that. I tuned out as she was giving me her 'take' on why she's being evicted. . She's moving in with a new boyfriend I didn't know about, and I didn't ask questions because I flat out don't want to know. I wrote down the new address and wished her good luck. There just really isn't much to be said between the two of us anymore. |
(((((((((((((((Freedom1990)))))))))))))))))) You must be disappointed with yet another instance where your AD still can't hold the practical aspects of life together for herself and your grandchild. Sounds like your are doing well with detachment. |
:( I feel for the teen... And you. :( |
Sorry.. |
Sorry DeVon. I'm glad she has a place to stay though. |
Good thoughts your way..and her way, too. ((Freedom)) |
