Vacations stress the crap outta me, for all the reasons TC999 states. Maybe it was just the company I was keeping. Then of course there's the 5 drink minimum to get me on an airplane, can't use THAT technique any more.

Now days I prefer a nice "stay-cation". There are many cool places an hour from here.

Oh, how many hours by cruiser to Jadmack's house?

Thanks and God bless us all,
Coyote

I can't get over those pictures... I mean.. that blue...

Good for you coyote, you are contributing less to pollution visiting places that are closer. For Christmas I am planning a stay-cation at home: cooking, painting, hours of yoga. If people become noisier and drunk-as they usually do with any excuse- I will take my sleeping bag with me and walk the 10minutes to a small park nearby with a Garfield booklet. I got all bases covered.

Its like they say about shamans and spiritual retreats and extreme experiences, that kind of thing

I read in order to be spiritual you don't have to go to India or dress in white or be a vegetarian or live in poor conditions or deny yourself anything. You don't have to "attract" anything, get rid of anything be more X and less Y, not feel Z... you are already "IT". You can't AVOID being peace, love and beautiful tranquilty. You just have to be quiet, stop identifying with the mind/ego,stop making it the master.

I really loved that idea.
Yes, I can have it all. (Including peace).

This stress test was an eye opener, thanks!

TC, I haven't had a chance to respond to you in my thread yet, I'm sorry. I've been busy working and looking for places to live I'm not ignoring you.
