I'm so sorry TakingCharge,
My grandma just passed away today, her memorial service is in my home state, and I am unable to afford an airline ticket home
There is nothing more that I would want than to be with my family at this time.
If there is any way that you can make it to Mexico and you could find it in your heart, it would be nice if you could be their to support your family, you won't regret it.
RIP Grandma

stacylove I am sorry to hear that please accept my condolences.
I live here in Mexico but I am near the Pacific coast and that side of the family is in the Yucatan peninsula - I visited with my dad in January - still recovering from that and some other trips I have made, money-wise $$$.
But yes, perhaps its a good idea to go by myself this time - my aunt and my cousin are so strong and were so exhausted already, I can't imagine what they are going through right now. They are WONDERFUL loving women and have gone through a lot.
Thanks for making me ponder this. I had not considered the possibility of visiting them.

Hi TakingCharge,
I'm sorry I was reading your first post and your last post, I didn't realize you had already visited once, I should have taken the time to read the whole thread. However, I guess they may need your help, and it's always good to spend time with the family, no matter what the circumstance
