First Post: Note to self...
She has wanted to "discuss" her leaving several times. Mainly, she rants or cries about how it isn't fair to her and won't help her recovery.
I replied with "this is about my recovery and you facing the consequences of your own actions. I'm not going to change my mind on this and there is nothing left to discuss."
The flight is tomorrow. I'm sure she has a few more tricks up her sleeve beforehand.
Wish me luck. I'll certainly need it.
Good luck on the execution of your plan.
Thanks and God bless us all,

I dropped her off at the airport this morning.
After our "this is about my recovery..." talk, she changed her tone to "what do I have to do to come home...?"
Blasted emotions, I hate this ride!
I'm in dire need of some "me" time to focus on my desired outcomes. The promise I made to myself is that I will consider my child and myself over the long term (1 year, 5, 10 and 20 year time horizons).
This sucks! However, it is part of life and I consider this moment an opportunity for my growth. I look to God's infinite wisdom to guide me and give me strength. This is all part of molding me into the person I NEED to be.
As I said before: I'm tired, but resolute.
Thank you all for your support. You may be strangers, but kindred spirits.
God bless us all.
