So here's a story of the on going blessings of old Coyote.

Last Thursday I posted about the job with "the perfect schedule", but the not so good pay.

Friday I went to our Workforce Office for a career assessment.

Happened to be talking to the right person at the right time. Thanks HP.

Was turned on to the WIA program information class starting right then (who knew), and filled out a lengthy application/eligibility package.

WIA is a deal where, if you qualify (i.e. not a dummy/too many BIG holes in your brain/IOW trainable) the gov't will keep paying you UI benefits while they pay to retrain you in a field of your interest/aptitude. O.K.

Had to call and turn down the job offer, because I just got a call from Jean at the Workforce commission telling me I qualify and to come in next Monday to discuss my options!

HOT DAMN ya'll!

All this for a guy who, just a few short years ago thought he had NO OPTIONS.

Man I'm truly blessed beyond my wildest dreams.

Oh, almost forgot, checked by bank account, and it was unusually high considering I just paid rent. Looked and sure enough the rent check cleared, and upon further investigation noticed that UI Benefits had deposited a second check for 8 bills three days after the last one. I guess it was more backed up than I thought.

Then I just got a call from a guy who's headlights I restored on credit/good faith last month. Left me a message that he hadn't forgotten about me and to come get my $50.

Been unemployed for 2 months, all my bills are paid, and my checking acct balance is more than it was when I was working, what up?

Damn!

I'm giving you a run for your money Barb! Ha!

Oh, and I bottled some of that MOJO.

I totally agree with you there Still Waters, which is entirely why I have probably missed out on some excellect interference by my Higher Power in life. It's kind of hard to direct me when I'm being stubborn thinking there's no way a bird in the hand is worth two bird in a bush called FAITH.

Congratulations Coyote!!! Now I have to ask, so just what is this interest/aptitude you are dreaming of, eh? I sense serious entrepreneurial juices are about to flow!

BTW, I decided to pay attention to what you and Barb have been doing and had a possible new job dropped in MY lap, tonight It's not exactly what I'm shooting for, by going back to school, but is a nice little detour and my future boss already knows about my plans for school and is VERY encouraging.

I just love this sort of news. May many more bits of good news brighten days that so often seem grey and sad filled. I get a warm feeling all over and my toes tingle and I have to dance from sheer joy. Loala is a short plumpy like me, and takes a few seconds to warm up for dancing.

I know, huh? So I've decided to share.

Here's what I know about "Special Wonder Dust".

The Universe is full of it. It's infinite, plenty to go around for all of us. So don't worry, Barb and I aren't "using it all up"! That's some very important information to have.

The second thing I know about it, is that you have to ASK the Universe for it. Other wise how is the Universe supposed to know what you want, and what gifts to bestow on you?

The last thing that I know, like I know, like I know, is that you have to be "willing to accept" the gifts from the Universe.

I know that last one sounds crazy, but how many of us on this forum don't REALLY think we are WORTHY, or we're SCARED?

I know I was, when I got here.......but NOT ANY MORE! What do we southerners say, Ain't Skeered! Ha!
