A Life Repeated
I am a mother of a binge/alcoholic 21 year old son. My father was (he is deceased), an alcoholic, my brother is an alcoholic and my husband comes from a long line of alcoholics. How ironic we found each other.
My son has currently gone back to college and I am just waiting as usual for the crash and burn. He of course is in complete denial of having any problem. He feels since he doesn't drink everyday he is not an alcoholic. Needless to say, I know the truth. I have lived this nightmare far too many times in my life.
I have read and read all of the books, I have seeked counseling and of course I am still pretty good at burying my head in the sand when I just can't take anymore.
I am here to learn and hopefully find some peace.
