A thought occurred to me today...

Today would have been the 33rd wedding anniversary of my first marriage.

I remember when we were on our honeymoon, we found out Elvis had died! Talk about a shock over dinner at a nice restaurant in Colorado Springs!

EXH was, and still is, a great guy. I drank that marriage into the ground.

Even though we were two kids playing house and with a baby to boot, he had the sense to walk away after 3 years and never look back.

I've made my amends to that man. I have no regrets.

He went on to marry a wonderful gal, they had two sons, and both of those boys are graduated from college now.

All's well that ends well, eh?

I lost a couple of good guys to booze, too. Oh well. I know better, now.

In just over a week, my dear mum arrives and we all celebrate my grand daughter's wedding, so please all pray for lovely fine sunny days for the next 2 weeks.

The day after the wedding is my late XAH's first anniversary, and the family are going to his favourite beach. Each daughter has an urn of ashes, and each will give some so that they can be released where he loved being, so much.

Had we still been together when he died, it would have been 45 years married.

Please God he is at peace now.

God bless

What a lovely gesture in his memory! Good thoughts for the upcoming wedding, and gentlest of hugs being sent to you from Kansas, dear!
