For all my fellow pet lovers, baby Ku'a then and now...

To refresh your memory, this was baby Ku'a day one at my house, and 6 weeks of age.

Ku'a now, at 4 months of age, and the sunshine of my life. She is such a good girl, and smart to boot.

He is beautiful, love those ears.

It just dawned on me, Ku'a is what LMC's karate class yells at the 10th repetition of all their practice stuff! Any connection?

Ha, picture 50 kids all yelling Ku'a at the same time, good stuff. Bet your pup would freak if he heard them all yell his name.

Thanks and God bless us all,
Coyote

Ku'a is Aboriginal for 'dog'. She has dingo in the mix.

You do need one of those!

My best guess is 15-20 pounds now. She'll be going to the vet's next week and we will get a new weight then. She's real leggy and her last growth spurt was getting longer through the body, so she's lanky now.

The hair on her back is also getting very wavy.

She is beautiful!!!! Oh, and those ears have me grinning from my both of mine. I wish my beagle/shepherd pup's ears would stand up like that. The only do it if he's passed out on the bed or if we get a real windy day out. Glad she is still a good girl with that dingo heritage. My Australian Cattle Dog is a serious button pusher. She is all princess and no patience. LOL! At 10 years of age, she's learned how to work me over.

Anvil, my ACD has that same wavy hair down her back. It culminates in thick waves on her rump like a bustle. And she can swing that thing like a 2-ton hammer when she's wrestling. She's a runt and is only have the size of a standard cattle dog, but you wouldn't know it by the way she throws her weight around.

Thanks for the update Devon. I feel like a long-distance relative getting an update on the latest addition to the family. It's a joy to hear how she's doing!!

Oh Alice, what a sweet thing to say! I feel like I'm sharing with an extended family here at SR.

She can be a button pusher. She and Miss Dot found a magazine that got wedged between my bed and the wall the other day. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera at the time to take pictures of the carnage in my bedroom!

I also can't put toilet paper on the holder. She can flat out haul once she gets the end in her mouth and runs!

Gorgeous snaps of a lovely "part Aussie". Who needs a satellite dish to contact outer space? Wonder if that is how we did our bit of contact for the moon landing, instead of using "the dish" at Parkes Observatory.

It is like hearing of the progress of kids in the family, isn't it. I love it.

I can see the toilet paper trail in my mind, hmmmm must capture that image.

God bless

(((DeVon))) - WOW, she's gotten big! She is absolutely adorable, and I LOVE her ears

She must be related to Elvis...at about 10 years of age, HE'S now discovered the toilet paper holder?

It's so good to come on here and see Ku'a, Bucky and Della...some of my furry nieces and nephews

Hugs and prayers!

Amy
