"You and me will end up badly"
No, no brothers or cousins, unfortunately.
I spent most of today alone as well.
He was away most of today due to his first day at his job. He arrived exhausted.
I am looking forward to my alone days. I told my family. They support me.
About rent, we will discuss it in 10 days when it is due.
He said he can be with me so we can sign the contract for next year as if we were still living together. So that his financial backup and the landlord are OK. So at least I won't be moving anywhere very soon.
I feel much better knowing what the future holds.

OMG, there is nothing worse than being involved in a contract with someone you are trying to get free of.
When my second alcoholic husband lost his job and I was coming home to find him passed out on the sofa while I was out looking for a SECOND job to support us (he having lost his and being too busy drinking to look for work), I told him we could not afford to renew our lease on the house we were living in. He wound up going out and signing a new lease on his OWN.
I moved out shortly afterward. When he complained he couldn't afford it, I told him too bad, I told you not to sign the lease, and you did it anyway. It's your problem, not mine.
I left him enough money for one month's additional rent and that was it. I did help clean up the house and helped him move his stuff but I wasn't moving with him. No way.
