I only came home with half a bin full of stuff(and only one toy!) so I did good I think. I did get 4 bins moved from the attic to the back of my "not currently" running van(no, he still hasn't fixed it, hasn't even had it go to the shop yet) and I am running two of those bins out to my sister's today, and two of them tomorrow. I can only fit so much in an escort.

Today is a happy Friday.
I don't have much of a plan yet but the AW and lad are heading out to see his grandparents all next week. I'm taking a few days off from work and heading to the hills.
You won't hear much from me next week, which is okay. Have a great weekend everyone!

Tonight I am buying plastic dishes and doing an emergency cleaning session at the apartment.

Tomorrow I am having family over, my first time hosting anyone from my family (XABF was always inviting his family over, but never mine), so I get to show off some of my cooking skills.

Sunday I will be recovering from the madness.

I get off work at 3:30 today and am going to go home and clean my house and I am VERY thankful for that because it has hit critical mass!

Well, it's not for today, or even this weekend, but... Just made plans to take DS and nephews to the Museum next Thursday to see the mammoth exhibit. It may not get quite the same oohs and aahs from the kiddos that the Star Wars exhibit got, but I think it'll be cool!

And this weekend, with unexpected time to myself, I will be heading to REI to use my member dividend to buy the tent I want so I can plan for last minute camping trips when XAH flakes on his visits with DS.

And maybe I'll head out to a greenhouse / garden center to get more plants to try to grow this summer. Dad's already got some begonias flowering and various seeds sprouting! (So I haven't killed his plants yet! And THAT my friends is amazing.)

I once read a theory that if you leave laundry in a pile long enough, heat and pressure turn your clothes clean again. Maybe you should look into that....

I am going to eat some brie on crackers with red grapes, drink some brandy, and contemplate why I am such a loser magnate. Then help my 17 yr old get ready for prom, my 13 yr old to her guitar lessons, and pick out colors to paint my new house.

REALLY??? Hmmm, need to do some research into that. One less thing to do around the house would be wonderful! I still have post-moving mess. You know how at the end of packing you have all the misc. stuff that does not belong in any box so you wind up packing 15 boxes full of unrelated stuff--those boxes are still in my basement, fully packed. I have post-divorce paper mess (although that I may just leave in that state as a reminder of what my life was like when still married to xah ), taxes mess, I have too much stuff in my hands I'll just throw it on the kitchen table (and then dining room table) mess. . .

4.8.11 - Another Friday!
What's the plan? I don't know what's up tonight. I'm approaching it with caution. The AW said she was going to write me a long letter as well as doing an outpatient program. I haven't seen the letter yet so it could still be quaking.

On the good note, she's started working out again. What does this have to do with me? I know she's increasing her natural dopamine factory which based on her recent work outs, she's in a better mood and doesn't drink. Ask me again, what this has to do with me? Her working out has prompted me to get some running shoes and work a C5K plan. It's a slow start jogging plan to get me active again and up to running a 5k race. So I think we're starting to chop up our weekends into personal time along with time spent playing with the boy. My therapist suggested we do this. It's not like I have to conceptualize this for her. I'll let her do her thing and when she's done, I'll go do my thing. Again, trading our time with the little guy.

Oh and I think we're going to upgrade our bed. We just bought one last month and it sucks. I think it's time to drop the budget on a Tempur pedic. We'll see.

Have a great weekend. It's supposed to be mid 70s in my neck of the woods. Could mean a little gardening time is in my future.

I have no set plans for the weekend, which is a change from the (at least recent) norm.

I want to go hiking at some point.
And I want to buy a bookshelf to put up all the National Geographic magazines my parents brought up two weeks ago when they visited. They look lovely when properly shelved, and they're a mess in my closet right now.

I will be spending time with a friend, maybe I'll try out a new recipe.

I get to be spontaneous this weekend. It will be lovely. <3

Me, too!
My reward, once I pay off this stuff, is to buy this:
National Geographic Lifetime Membership - National Geographic Store

I did not have a job back when they were only $200, so I've got some saving to do. But I have always wanted one, and I am getting one!

Ahhhh...sweet Friday night...after a hectic long week. I closed on the house today - so now I am a homeowner again but also poor again, so tonight I am doing nothing but watching Indiana Jones on cable. Going to bed early. Starting to pack tomorrow. Kids out with friends so its just me and the dogs. Nice to have some peace and quiet!

Dinner with my wonderful daughter tonight and now watching a movie. Iam starting back at the gym tomorrow. Now that I lost 25 pounds in 5 weeks (breakup diet) I need to tone up. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow last night was a sleepless night. Peace and quiet.

Time is flying. Yet another Friday. I don't know what to expect. Perhaps I won't have any expectations. The boy is going to Grandmas on Saturday. I reckon I can get some gardening done, practice my guitar, get a good nights sleep and chill.

Oh a new Tempur-pedic mattress should be arriving tomorrow. I'm excited about that.

It's spring break for the local high-school next week, so that means................

We get to take our first RV trip of the year! So, tomorrow we de-winterize the plumbing, take the tarp off, check the fluid and battery levels, fill the cupboards and refrig, make the beds, pack our stuff, then, Sunday morning................

We hit the road! Off to the coast we go. Sunday afternoon through Wednesday morning we will be in a campground in the middle of the California Redwoods. Wednesday afternoon through Saturday morning at the beach!

Woohooo! Road trip!

It's sunny in Anchorage and I am taking the afternoon off to paint in the new house. I've had so many people ask me why I don't pay someone else to do this job...well for one I am broke now but secondly, I just love to paint. I find it therapeutic to work with my hands, and it is so satisfying to see the end result of a fresh coat of paint on a wall.

But I am envious of LaTeeDa's plans! I LOVE road trips!
