How to Reply to Posts in the Regular F&F Forum

It took me a while to notice that hardly anybody has been posting in the regular F&F Forum since the server crash on Friday. I thought the lack of members (I can see lots of visitors) was due to the holiday and everybody was having SUCH A FABULOUS TIME that they were too busy to post there. And I can't tell you what I thought about myself since I was only one of a few folks who seemed to be actively using and participating on the forum (old habits die HARD)--even though I was having a fabulous time, but I digress....

Anyway, it's possible to reply to threads there if you go to a thread that peaks your interest, hit the reply button from inside the thread, and log in from there. It allows you to not only reply but to begin new threads as well.

The database problem seems to occur only when members attempt to log in from the F&F Forum link. At least that's my take on the problem.

Not the same here. I get the database error by simply clicking on the "Family and Friends of Alcoholics" link, even though I am logged in.

I'm glad you found a workaround.

If you're logged out first, you can view the forum. Then if you find a thread you want to reply to, follow Doormat's instructions.
