OT - Prayers Please
OT - Prayers Please
I don't pray myself.. not sure I even know how to. I've seen the compassion and concern on these boards, so I'm hoping for some prayers for my cousin please. I'll skip the long end version, and just state the facts.
My cousin is going through a divorce of his wife for six or so years.
They have two miracle babies (she had a hard, hard time getting pregnant)
His wife was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer.
She's currently going through chemo, has had both breats removed, and lost her hair.
They found a mass on their four year old son's lung the size of an orange.
He was just diagnosed with Cancer, and is being taken to John Hopkins.
I feel so bad for the entire family, as it's completelty falling apart. I cannot imagine the pain my cousin, and the whole family are going through.
Please, say a prayer for them.
Thank you

I don't often post the prayers that I say - but today I just feel lead to do so . . .
Father God, I pray that you would touch this Jenny's family - so much illness, pain and sorrow~ We ask for Your very BEST. We ask for comfort, Grace, and Peace for each member - for the husband, wife and children. For physical healing, recovery and strength for those fighting cancer; for guidance, love, and a spirit of healthy compassion and understanding for the other members in the family. I ask that each person be given Your Love, Comfort and Guidance as they walk this scary path.
Amen.
HUGS & good thoughts for you too,
Rita

So sorry to hear Jenny, will pray for your family. Just to give u a glimmer of hope, cancer is bad and very long drawn out process, a friend of mine had a double masectomy, cancer of the liver, 4 years ago she was diagnosed. Today she is in remission, prayers help. GOD hears our prayers! Try to keep positive, and remember any thought u direct to heaven is considered a prayer, GOD knows whats going on in your heart, HE knows the situation. Hopefully they have caught the boys cancer in time, will say an extra special prayer for him. Hugs xxx
Omg.. this broke my heart. He has lymphoma...
His mother just posted a blog.. and I'm fighting tears at work.. she said:
"I am feeling rotten as I am one day post treatment. I have all my IV medications and IV fluids here in the hospital. I'm trying to be strong for Brayden. He doesn't want us out of his site. I have struggled with what to tell him. I just said you know how Mom's chest is sick? Well the Dr.'s think that your chest is sick too and they think that you are going to need the same medicine and magic button that Mom has. The said your hair might fall out like Mom's too. We are going to do this together. You are going to take care of me and I am going to take care of you. Together we can face anything."
Thank you so much guys.. The tumor is inoperable due to it's location... oh my gosh...
It really makes you put your own life into perspective. Things could be SO much worse...

I will be praying for this family. For God's grace and healing. I will also put them on my church prayer list. I am so sorry for all they are going through. And Jenny, you don't need fancy words or any thing else, just call out to Him.
He will supply ALL your needs. Gina
