well I guess that's good news
 

I just had about 4 minutes of trying to understand why alcoholics won't stop drinking. Not when they're already drunk. Not when they've peed in teh closet or in their clothes. They won't stop drinking when the people who love them the most create boundaries and distance. Some loose everything and everyone dear to them, and still won't stop.

Gee. I don't remember the last time I cared about this. It's easily been months. Like, five months.

Good news-I quickly shrugged it off. Accepted that I dont' get it and never will and it ain't my problem.

When you stop giving a damn it is the best feeling.
It helps to read unsolved mystery books - yes I dont know the answers to those either, and the world still spins, the sun still shines and I still get to choose how I will pass my day. Even if many moments suck :)

I figure 4 minutes, is all that I need waste on these thoughts and reminders of what was, ages ago it seems, a big part of my life.

I read it all in another post and it got me riled, as it brought back times I do not want revisited in any way.
Sometimes, even if we stop dancing...the music keeps on playing.
