OH LULU!!!! This post is amazing.
I was watching a TV show and one of the characters was having a baby and everyone in the room was crying and I thought about how we always cry when people come into our world and we cry when they go out. It's kind of a catharthic moment for everyone around in both cases.
And here I am reading your post with tears in my eyes feeling this sense of wonderment and relief all at the same time.
It really is as if a new life has come into our world.
IT'S A GIRL!!!
I keep telling myself this is a whole new ride I'm on. It's full of twists and turns and ups and downs like the last one, but this one comes with a whole lot of tools to handle it and make the most of every lesson on the way. And it's so much more fun when you have a train full of supportive people here at SR and Al-Anon to ride along with you.
