I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. There is nothing worse. I lost my son to a heroin od on Sep 4, 2008, almost 2 years ago. My son didn't use heroin for 9 years, then he overdosed on it. I feel your pain.

SpiritualSeeker, I lost my brother to a heroin overdose, like KatyRoses son, he was clean for 6 years, used and died. I know that losing a brother is completely different than a son. I don't have anything to say that will comfort you, so I am just going to sit here with you and pray. I just want to let you know that I'm with you, and being a mother I do understand the love, and can't begin to imagine the loss. I'm so deeply sorry. To all those who don't believe in GOD I hope your not offended. But, I find comfort knowing that the best thing I can do for SpiritualSeeker is Pray.

Dear GOD, please hear my prayer. Take Spiritual Seeker into your arms and help her to deal with this overwhelming grief. Help her to see that her son is alright with you. That he is not hurting, or in pain or suffering. That he is at peace, warm in your light and love. Please help her to grieve properly, and surround her with warm, loving, compassionate, and caring people. Send your angels to surround and protect her at this sad and vulnerable time. Please give her your strength and support and let her find comfort through her faith. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen
