Just checking in... 4 month update
 

RAH is still working his program (went into rehab on 1/21/10; left AMA after 12 days)... not perfect but it's his program to work.

I've been going to my meetings weekly which is helping tremendously! I found a womens meeting that I feel very comfortable with, no sponsor yet but I have a couple of options in my sight.

I've actually started taking care of myself.. after a scare that landed me in the ER. Nothing serious.. apparently just work related stress (funny how the other alcohol related stresses never had that effect on me)!

RAH finally landed a job after 7 months, its not in his normal line of work but he's been wanting out of the business he was in & seems happy. It's a sales position which is downright scary but I'm not freaking out like I would in the past... just making some personal financial changes to ensure my safety.

I don't post alot, but I'm here daily.. just wanted to share my gratitude for this place, you guys & Alanon!

Glad to hear from you, and that you are still having your daily peek at what we are up to.
Congrats on your Alanon experiences, and hope you find your sponsor soon,.
Having your AH working again, must be a relief even if some doubts still pop up at times.

Stress, is stress whether work related or from coping with an A, and I will shred my graduation veil if your problem came from work alone, and wasn't a lot due to stress from the A part of your life.

I hope you are healthy and fit now, and that AH continues on the recovery road.
