Spring semester is over...
Spring semester is over...
I'm beat. I was granted an extension in one class till the 30th of June. My health hasn't cooperated one single semester yet, so what's new?
I didn't do as well as I had hoped again, but I did the best that I could. I really wanted to keep my GPA at a 3.0, but again, my health wasn't really great, and I'm still battling a lot of deep depression.
I signed on the dotted line, electronically speaking, for student loans, both subsidized and unsubsidized. I'm scared. I'm already looking at 20 grand in medical bills, and up to this point, Pell Grants and Vo-Rehab were taking care of college expenses.
Even though I only needed 4 extra classes at this college to get the second degree, Vo-Rehab won't pay any expenses for that one, and I understand that. My worker is overseeing 41 disabled folks in various colleges, and that's a fair chunk of change. I am going to graduate with a double degree, and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there.
I've got to have something to live off of, and I don't have a drop of gas in my car should I ever get a frigging job interview.
Seriously, I think I'm going to sleep for two days straight. No...wait! I have a new puppy, don't I?
Ahhhh well, Amber has been dropping off Sissy and her youngest dog Dot (8 months old) before she goes to work at 6 am, and Dot and Ku'a have been having the time of their lives at my house.
No rest for the wicked or the weary, I say!
For your viewing pleasure, I give you:
Puppy pile-up! (that would be Dot that Ku'a is attacking)
And food induced puppy coma...

Hilarious puppy fun!!
Dev, I think sleeping for 2 days (minus time feeding and walking dogs) is a great idea. Sleeping and dreaming are when our nerves get a rest and we process difficult stuff going on in our lives....
I am going to graduate with a double degree, and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there.
Yes! You will get there! And you've been doing great. It just is so hard!
Hope you find some rest-
peace-

Hi Freedom.
I have tried affirmations recently and am astonished at the results.
I like the following mantras:
What I desire desires me back.
Thank you God for giving me perfect health and enthusiasm for life.
Thank you God for providing me in abundance.
Also I read it is not much as the words but the feelings they generate inside you that make a difference.
Feel the feeling of opening your mail with your double degree, how does that feel like? can you revisit that image and feeling often as if it was a fact?
Our words are very powerful.....
All the best.
