Official Rolling My Eyeballs Thread

Really. I can't roll them enough at the moment. The insanity just continues.

I am total NC with my AH, and have been for a looong time now. So, he mails my Mother a letter.

So, if you feel the need to roll your eyeballs in the privacy of SR over some nutbar thing your A has done lately, please join me!

My AstbxH accompanied my son's class on an overnight fieldtrip. Child is 8. Teacher approached me today and every last issue I have had with AH presented itself on the trip - isolating the child, talking about inappropriate things, leaving the group to go do his own thing with the child...

I *think* the answer is that his chaperone eligibility will have to be between him and the school. I did not give an opinion when he decided to go and school will have to make their own determinations about who they wish to chaperone.

NOT my problem. Right? Not my problem.:lala

Nope, not your problem. Roll roll roll them eyes! ;)

<rolling my eyeballs>

He sent a stuuuuuuupid email telling me child support was going to be on a Giant grocery gift card. (duh)!!!!!! What he forgot was that I was asking for $200 less than what they are entitled to according to the state calculator.

Not so anymore.

Ooo! That's a BIG rolling eyeball!

But wait.....there's more!

My A stepson in the middle of his active, creepy, scary crack phase once asked his dad for $3 for "an ice cream sandwich". I almost blew water through my nose at that one.....

Oh, I have often thought, when good judgment was being handed out, that my former husband was in line to use the restroom instead.

Case in point of the week: I got my daughter a phone, in case she ever needs to contact me or her dad in case of an emergency.

Apparently his gf does not approve of our daughter having a phone.

So, he has elected to attempt to hide the phone from from her. And enlisted my daughter's help. (My daughter was extremely defensive about this lie being perpetrated upon the girlfriend. I didn't push it.)

My lovely daughter, the ADD poster child, isn't going to remember to turn it off. His girlfriend isn't stupid, exactly how long is she going to overlook that strange ringing noise from my daughter's backpack? She does the laundry, isn't she going to find it in my child's pants pocket? Oh well, not my problem.

Last night he called me a B*tch and a wicked witch of the west because I got mad at him for giving $100 tip to the wait staff at my MIL's 85th b'day party. He did this in front of my kids, telling them that he doesn't know WHY I'm such a b*tch because he's the greatest guy you'd ever know!

I like this thread. there are so many. its hard to remember the best one...

"you're not allowed to get mad at me for this" - as he cracks open a beer
"It helps me sleep. Just one."

Yeah, and what did you have earlier?

"A few beers..."

Pause..

"What? That was just lunch."

OR

"I have no one to come home to. I need someone to keep my **** proper. You can come over tonight, the next night and the next and make sure. I need someone to support me when I'm up and when I'm down."

Well if drinking constitutes as down...he's be down for a long time. Where's up?!

haha. Brother.

This reminded me. My AH would hide the house phone from my daughter when he'd find it around the house, to teach her a lesson about putting it back on the charger. Guess who NEVER used the house phone? Him. Ever.

So when she'd ask if we had seen the phone, he'd lecture her and get it out of his hiding place.

What an ass.

Which also reminds me of the time he took the doorknob off the door, to teach us a lesson about locking the bottom lock, which he asked us not to do...and we'd forget and do it anyway. That doorknob was still missing when I left.

This really hit me. Why do they always think they are the greatest guys?
