I was REALLY bored!

You’re off and away!
Except....
You'll have marbles instead of brains in your head.
You'll have vomit and slobber all over your bed.
You're self esteem you will undoubtedly lose
You'll be a new prisoner, just him, you, and booze
You’ll wonder why nobody's answering your prayers
You'll cry and you'll say, “How did I even get here?”
With your head in your hands and heart missing beats
you'll holler "Get me off of this dead-end dirt street!"
And before you know it - A new codependent's in town.
Who? Why it's you of course with that pitiful frown
Look over there, just down the hall - What's that you see?
they've passed out in the bathroom while taking a pee.
And as you wander through life in your haze of dispair
You'll smile, cover up, lie and pretend "all is fair!"
You'll start finding Bottles in jackets, toilets, and shoes
Then what comes next? what exactly did you choose?
Why, it's Verbal abuse and perhaps a little physical too.
What was that they tried to say all slurred and jumbled?
That it's all of your fault - you hounded and grumbled
They'll go from sobbing, to anger, to laughs in a minute
they'll say that they're horrible and then try to fix it.
Until the morning when... - The car? they can't find it.
So hold on to your hat it's gonna be one hell of a ride
To stay with a alkie with that much hatred inside
