This is a bold question but I am curious
The supposed Al Anon "equivalent" of the Big Book is How Al Anon Works (and, no, Bill did not write it! LOL).....personally I think Paths to Recovery is better. (Bill didn't write that one either; actually, it's rumored to have been written primarily by Mary Pearl of North Little Rock, AR -- who is a self-described Big Book Black Belt Al Anon and, thus, a thorn in the side of Conference Approved Literature Control Freaks.) She's a delight to listen to that's for sure
Wow everyone has given me much insight -looking at it in the perspective everyone is saying all I can think of is God taking darkness and turning it into light. I am in the beginning of healing and I know I am not alone in this making for a clouded wounded way of looking at something. Thank you all for your inspirational words. Had to put this here I love this smiley :codiepolice

Psalm 118:8
I just had my bathroom remodeled. The contractor I hired did an excellent job for a very fair price. I have no idea how his marriage is or whether he is faithful to his wife. It has nothing to do with his ability to remodel my bathroom.
AA helps alcoholics get and stay sober. That's what it's for. If I wanted marriage counseling, I wouldn't go to AA.
