Oh the places you'll go / Dr. Seuss

waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting for a Yes or No
or waiting for their hair to grow. everyone is just waiting

I love Dr. Seuss. And one day soon I will move from the waiting place back into life. There is going to be that one day when I won't hold myself back anymore.

Oh I love Dr. Seuss too!! They say we learned all we need to know in kindy!

Here is one of my favorites. I think it is from the same book even.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own, and you know what you know.
And you are the one who'll decide where you'll go.
Oh the places you'll go.” - Dr Seuss

I posted in on my fb once and ah replied - through one of the kids' accounts. Ah and I are not facebook friends and he is not friends with the kids so I never see his, thank heavens! It must have aggitated him, haha.

Ah yes! I think "Oh, the places you'll go" should be in the Self-Help section of the book store. It is just simply brilliant. Or I am just too much of a Dr. Seuss fan.

Yeah, "Green Eggs and Ham" rocks. IIRC, Dr. Suess wrote something that's quoted here from time to time "The people that mind don't matter and the people that matter don't mind"

So many good ones.

"Today is your day, your mountain is waiting, so get on your way."
Dr Seuss

One of my favorites...
“Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.”
Dr. Seuss

“I meant what I said and I said what I meant.”
Dr. Seuss

"I'm afraid sometimes
you'll play lonely games too,
games you can't win
because you'll play against you"”
Dr. Seuss

I think I should have a quote of the week for my kids Deep thoughts by Dr. Seuss, lol.

You know, I grew up in French, so I *never* read Dr. Seuss! One day, I'll sit myself down at a library and go through it all. There seems to be lots of wisdom there.

noday,
I highly recommend Dr. Seuss.
He keeps life's lesson fantastically simple.
Lovely stuff.
